“Twilight Of The Idols" is a statement about the universal phenomena of cultures worshiping certain ideas or individuals and exalting them to hero or religious status only to replace those idols with new heroes or ideologies at mere whimsy. In this sculpture the idol might represent a religious piety or even a popular celebrity. More often than not, the fickle nature of man's psyche becomes apparent when we grow tired of and replace our established idols and is signed and dated by the artist.
