As David was finishing dinner at a local restaurant, the server presented him with a paper origami crane. Pondering how beautiful and delicate the paper crane was he mused how interesting it would be to recreate the same allusion of the folded paper form in stainless steel. David shows the fingers of the hand delicately holding the origami crane which he had just folded. The subject matter defies the unyeilding metal from which it is made. This work was finished in 2007. All of his workes are created and completed by the hands of the artist himself.
